October 11, 2018. The Court in the RH Inc., Securities matter certified a class of common stock investors. Plaintiffs had alleged that the RH Inc. (f/k/a Restoration Hardware, Inc.) made material misrepresentations that the Company had sufficient inventory levels for its RH Modern product launch. Professor Steven Feinstein of Babson College and Crowninshield Financial Research provided analysis and deposition testimony on market efficiency and responded to defendants’ arguments regarding the feasibility of a common damages methodology for all class members.
The judge relied on Professor Feinstein’s analysis in the Court’s decision to certify the class.
