Dr. Minahan is an expert in the management of large institutional investment programs. He has more than two decades experience advising institutional investors on investment policy, asset allocation, risk management, and investment manager evaluation, and managing departments performing these functions.  From 2010 through 2015, he was a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Associate Faculty Director of the Master of Finance program at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to MIT, he was Senior Investment Strategist and Director of Research at New England Pension Consultants, National Director of Investment Services for MetLife, and a Senior Consultant with Meketa Investment Group.  He has served as an expert in regard to the prudence of processes used to evaluate investment managers, in regard to estimating transaction costs of transition management, and in regard to assessing the risk of investment strategies and decisions.
